Positives: Location. Staff was friendly.
Negatives: Hotel is in sad shape. Mainly due to the uncleanliness of the rooms and poor condition of the public areas. Our room was cleaner when we left because my lovely wife couldn't sleep until she cleaned it herself. I would never stay here again

Negatives: When we arrived I did go look at the room, it Smelled nasty but after driving 5 hours and having pet we did not feel like trying to find another place. ( I should have ) the staff ( except for a maintenance man and a older maid) we're so unfriendly, still had plexy glass all around check in area like every one except them had the plague , the room , linens ALL SMELLED like weed or some other type of drug. When we arrived there was only 1 wash cloth, was told to leave linens outside door to get more . I went and bought our own. So they wouldn't smell horrible! Shower faucet was coming off , no bags in trash cans and I can go on and on !! I guess I got what I paid for... Never again I'll pay more to get QUALITY not disgust !! I should have taken pictures

Positives: The room was clean. Perfect sized room for a solo traveler. Friendly staff. 7/10
Negatives: Tried to charge my card twice even though I chose to 'Pay At Property' (on When I arrived they told me they almost gave me my room away :/ Was given a room with a broken door handle. Had to wait 10 mins, in the lobby with my bags, for them to fix it, and was asked if they could see if everything was "All good" with the handle the following day. I was I could have had another room (or wasn't sold the room) if I had know the door was faulty.

Positives: Competitive pricing as well as both the staff & management promptly inquiring about & addressing concerns!:) Rooms are still spacious compared to newer buildings with adequate amenities within such as complimentary coffee, microwave, compact refrigerator, basic cable & wifi. No major problems or grime once a room was selected given my preferences/concerns. Still a decent place to shower, sleep, & relax a bit between outings!!!
Negatives: Upkeep... not currently allergy friendly:/ 3 years since my last stay at this location. Like most Red Roofs this location thankfully upgraded to vinyl flooring since then. However, the building & rooms are in need of a deep cleaning since several rooms are cross rented to guests with pets & smokers. Over use of incense/fragrance in the common areas is just as offensive to people with allergies & lingers on our belongings. Unfortunately, hotels can't predict guest behavior after Check-In, but retaining security deposits for violators may be necessary~IJS Clearly my concerns are mostly due to mixed-use by different types of guests; so, I suggest more frequent HVAC-Filter cleaning/replacement(smokers/pet smell); more frequent drapery/upholstery cleaning/replacement; & thorough floor cleaning between guests(kibble in closet/corners). Allowing pets in every room also makes most guests leery about pest control issues; although, I didn't directly experience any this trip... thus far. Other than that it's just time to address minor maintenance issues such as chipped paint; after-hours tidying/cleaning of the common areas including the guest elevator; broken seal on window; shower head cleaning/replacement; better lighting in the sitting are of the suites; and thorough linen review as one towel was clearly too stained to still be in use. However, in these COVID times I generally bring my own linens anyway when traveling domestically & give my room a quick wipe down which this one passed:)

Positives: The lady at the front desk was super sweet!!
Negatives: Our room wasn't ready when we arrived a little after 4pm, which happens, no biggie! We asked for a different room after waiting about 15 minutes because we were running late for a wedding. Our new room was pretty gross (dirty sink, greasy handprints on the leather office chair, pubic hairs on the bathroom floor). The only redeeming quality (besides the super nice lady at the front desk) was that the bed was like sleeping on an angel's wing.
