Location and staff was nice
Negatives:
My husband found chiggers in the bathroom and we killed a bug in our bed he last day.
While I don't think we got chigger bites, I ended up with over 60 bites over my body, half on my lower legs and feet. I think I got some by the river, but I felt like we were getting bit all night. After the first night my husband told them about the chiggers and they stated they'd try to find another room but they just responded they'd "try". No response rest of the stay.
Room felt dirty after that. Super sweet maid changed all the linen at my request due to the bugs. I'm appalled the front desk staff didn't at least offer that or send someone to check it out
Bathtub water didn't drain well. That's just gross
Bugs in the light fixture in the bathroom. Also mold in ceiling in room.
The bed was right by the vent which just cycled in air by our heads and really affected our allergies.
Will never stay here again. AND Marriott won't give us points for the stay.

Staff was not very pleasant, not enough food for the guests at breakfast, lack of transparency for charges and perks, charges for pets are not clear and nothing provided for pets such as bowls or bed after charging more than for humans. Unfair charges for pets when there was nothing to be done or provided.

The bed was so comfortable, the entire facility was sparkling clean, the staff was kind and quick to offer assistance.

Staff was very accommodating. Room was exactly what we expected. Location with within a mile of our venue.

Elevator was not working. If we would've been on any floor other than the 2nd we wouldn't have stayed. Breakfast could've ended a little later than 9

Booking was not very well done. I could not add insurance for the booking was not told why I could not. Parking was supposed to be on site was not disclosed that it was an extra $35. Hotel was booked because it was dog friendly or pet friendly but it was not disclosed that there was $100 non-refundable fee I could have stayed somewhere else with a lesser fee or no fee had I known
