Beautiful lake, conveniently located near Stone Mountain with a great shuttle service to the park. The shuttle driver was a wonderful person working hard to get us back and forth comfortably.
Negatives:
The hotel is nice but could use updates for the price. It is dated and the amenities aren’t considered “resort” level amenities.

Large rooms. Recently renovated. Mine had great views of the lake. Quiet and I slept really well.
Negatives:
This is principally a conference venue and service is focused on that. Struggled a bit with the needs of a solo traveller. Staff were friendly but structures weren’t in place.

The location was great of course. The pool area was really nice. Giant size chess board, hot tub, large pool (indoor and outdoor). The restaurant was okay.
Negatives:
The king bed was very uncomfortable unfortunately and low to the ground. In our bathroom, the shower door would not stay closed when you were in the shower. The weight of a person made it feel like you were tilting, and it made the heavy shower door slide open. We had to lay down extra towels on the floor to mop of the water overflow.
