I am surprised the quality of rooms they have for 85$ price per night. The entire hotel lobby is shabby and not clean. The bath room door wont close properly. In USA this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed.

The bathtub was dirty. Full of hair & dirt. The water wouldn’t drain fast enough. The bed sheets were dirty. The place is rusty, moldy & dusty. Had issues opening the door with the key card. The water from the shower & the sink smelled like chlorine.

Super dirty room

The hotel is located close to the expressway. Room and refrigerator was fairly clean. Only saw one roach.
Negatives:
The booking website stated that the listed room rate of $68 was the same at the location. However, that was not accurate. The hotel rate was higher at $81. Thus, I reserved the room on the booking website. As a result of getting a discounted rate, the staffer purposely assigned me to creepy rooms. The staffer told me as much, when I went back to get a better room. The first room 201 is close to the busy road. So, I heard all the semi trucks and car traffic in the room. The second room was next to the pool where a loud strange animal noise like ducks being killed would randomly sound. I told the staffer that I was sorry I spoke harshly to the stray cat that they feed, and that I could tell he didn't like me based on the rooms that he chose to assign to me. The staffer told me that I booked an economy room. I replied that all of the rooms were economy. It's the Red Roof Inn. He informed me that after 15 minutes no refund will be given. I asked to go back to room 201 and I learned that the air conditioner drowns out the road traffic. Much better than the horror movie noise heard by the pool. I played the recording of the noise to the staffer as evidence for the request for a better room. Especially since he knows the property and rooms and probably had similar complaints about those rooms and stains on the pillow cases and bedding. They have the nerve to require a $50 deposit. Laughable!

The room door was wide open upon arrival. Pic online FALSE. The door barely shut and you could see clean through the side of it. The sheets had stains. The room was filthy including the entire air conditioning and tub. I checked out IMMEDIATELY
