The bathroom smelled when we arrived. Probably because there was no fan for ventilation. Also, It was pretty annoying that the fire alarm went off at 5:45 for no apparent reason and we had to drag all our kids outside.

The fire alarm sounded in the middle of the night. It was a false a but I was unable to fall asleep afterwards.

It appeared to be clean where ever we went and actually had a pool and spa that looked open. They had a pretty good breakfast also. We have an older dog and they were very accommodating for and we really liked that

The room only had a desk chair and another cheap desk type chair and no couch or padded chair. The hot water to the shower took a minimum of 6 minutes before it got hot but the sink got hot quickly.

The breakfast was the best I have ever had at the hotel. Even my picky 4 yo cleaned her entire plate. The GM I had an opportunity to speak with due to an incident at the hotel, is one of the best this industry can have. Great listener and problem solver.
Negatives:
Staff needs customer care training. Handled rather simple incident poorly. Thanks to the GM, problem was resolved, but not til we got home. Cleanliness! I dropped an earring on the floor and it landed next to hair band full of hair from previous guest
