no valet, self parking only in small garage, housekeeping closet right next to room was very loud, wallpaper in room was peeling, all drains in room were clogged (toilet, sinks), refrigerator is too tiny to hold anything, pool is small and not heated, hotel seems very outdated, banana peel in parking garage caused someone to fall & the next day the peel was still there even though incident was reported the day prior.

Location was perfect for us. We didn’t want to be in the center of all the activity, but close enough to walk. Staff was welcoming and friendly.
Negatives:
Bathroom was a little tight especially If you have little ones to attend to. Not a lot of space for toiletries. Luckily we have a hanging toiletry bag, but we at least like to keep all out the basics.

The staff was super friendly, protocols for safety against COVID exposure were superb. The hotel offered digital keys in lieu of the standard door key which was really cool to use. The rooms were exceptional for the price, with plenty of room for a party of five. There was a secluded bedroom area where the pull out bed was located, and extra space for clothing storage. The balconies offered superior views of both the city and beach nearby. The restaurant in the hotel offers discounts for hotel guests, and the food was absolutely amazing!! Plenty of self parking available, and valet service if you prefer that method. Property is less than a mile from everything; Hawaiian Marketplace, Waikiki Beach, ABC Stores (for souvenirs or snacks), and centered to everything you’d want to do - 20 minutes from Pearl Harbor to the West, or Hanauma Bay Preserve (20 minutes to the East. About a 45 minute drive to North Shore (absolutely stunning!!) Concierge was very helpful with setting up activities, though I’d look at Groupon to save some money, as you can find the same deals for significantly less, though we did book the Chief’s Luau through the on site Concierge. Property has a full gym, movie rentals for free, and a salt water pool that provides plenty of sun and shade. The water was perfect! I’d definitely stay again, and can’t wait to take another trip to the island!!

The narrow self parking spaces is the only thing really. But it seems like all the parking in Hawaii is like that. Not a deal breaker though.

We were hit with an unexpected 30 dollar a day resort fee that wasn't part of our initial booking and which was never mentioned until we arrived. Bait and switch.
