Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach

Negatives: I was offered late check out for a certain price and confirmed through email but when I arrived, they said it was denied and the price was doubled. Then the hotel had maintenance, communication issues and our TV didn’t work during our whole stay. Our bed and pillows were not comfortable at all. Definitely didn’t feel like Hilton products ( I use them at home).

Negatives: We were assigned a room on the third floor facing the garage, which is practically connected directly to it. It's impossible to relax on the balcony at all. What's even more outrageous is that the curtains can't even be closed properly—there's clearly an issue with them. And the charge on our card is different from the amount showing on booking.com. Still contact the hotel for invoice.

Negatives: Too expensive. Some hotel staff were rude which was a surprise since most of the staff we met at the hotel were very polite and kind. Don’t get the option with included breakfast: The restaurant is managed poorly and has a horrible breakfast arrangement. I was charged for breakfast and told that it would be removed during checkout since I got the breakfast included package. It was not removed and if I did not notice it, I would have had to pay. When I did mention this to a staff member, I was told that the breakfast allowance was $30 for 2 persons and I had exceeded it by $8. During my stay, I had specifically asked if there was a limit and I was not informed about any limit (the weird breakfast arrangement). The hotel staff did not want to remove the $8 and wanted me to name the staff I spoke to during my stay or describe the person!!! In the end they removed the charges but the whole experience summed up the stay - overpriced, unhelpful and forgettable.

Negatives: Room was very clean, but feel showers need a revamp
