Positives:
We booked this room at the last minute as we had booked elsewhere and checked in there to find the room to be dirty. Hilton Garden Inn was able to accommodate us within an hour, all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, the room was VERY clean, the bed was really comfortable. We didn't have a view, as it was a last minute booking, but we didn't mind at all, as we were only really in the room to sleep and shower.
The location was great, opposite the International Marketplace, and walking distance to most of the Waikiki area. We actually only used our car when we were going outside of Honolulu.
Negatives:
Unfortunately, like most hotels in the area, car parking was expensive as it was valet only, but it is what it is.
We were very happy with the room for our 3 day stay, and would happily stay again if it was a short trip. Rooms aren't huge, so it wouldn't be ideal for a long stay.

The cleaning man was FANTASTIC!! He was always friendly worked very hard and I left my AirPods there and he turned them in......fantastic man.

The carpet and paint on the wall, needs an update. Also did not like the pool, there was no shade

Plenty of restaurants and stores attached or nearby. Good housekeeping crew. Speedy elevators. Room was well-appointed with baby fridge, microwave, TV.

Street noise was a cacophony.
A long walk (15 minutes) from the iconic beach. My booking said “partial ocean view”, and that’s exactly what I got. A tiny sliver of blue peeking between 2 skyscrapers.
