Positives: Good location close enough to main shops, restaurants, and short walk to the beach. Enjoyed the gym and the water station to fill your water bottles (includes sparkling water option). Staff were great.

Negatives: For those wanting to sunbathe by the pool, the pool area gets direct sunlight only for part of the afternoon due to other surrounding towers as well as the Laylow tower orientation. The lobby does have some seating areas but isn’t as large as some other hotels.

Positives: We really liked the decor, the room was comfy, everything worked well. The staff were always lovely, we really appreciated the option to borrow beach towels, and the breakfast food and coconut lattes were pretty good, no queues ever, as opposed to everywhere else in Honolulu. Nice to have a balcony where we could dry out swimsuits overnight.

Negatives: All was good, we would have preferred a shower door instead of a curtain (for the price), but it was fine. Also, the view wasn’t brilliant (for the price), but it was fine.
