Heyday, Waikiki’s newest restaurant located inside White Sands Hotel, takes the traditional elements of Hawaiian cuisine and gives them a modern and international twist like you've never seen (or tasted) before. Heyday circular bamboo bar is the only venue on the island where you can swing while sipping on cocktails inspired by Hawaiian flavors and fruits. The Hawaii Convention Center is 5 minutes' drive from the White Sands Hotel and the Honolulu International Airport is 15 minutes' drive away. The Honolulu Zoo is 15 minutes' walk from the hotel.

The pool area and friendly staff.
Negatives:
Carpets were stained and needed cleaning, both in the hallways and rooms. The bathroom had a bad odour most of the time, and the fan in the bathroom was very loud.

Cute little touches all over, well decorated room, lovely reception staff, complimentary refreshments by the pool.
Negatives:
Super noisy!! Even though we requested a quiet room, we were given a room directly above their cocktail bar, where loud music was played until 1am. And during the day there's noise from the carpark and valet staff. Another issue was, even though there's a kitchenette in the room, they don't supply basic utensils like a knife to cut a piece of fruit. The windowless bathroom fan didn't work either. Lastly, the staff should set rules and monitor the use of sunbeds around the pool, other guests were hogging them all day long.

Cute place with room for...
Positives:
The location, the amenities, the employees at the front desk, and more at the bar... we definitely recommend it, and we definitely came back when we needed to escape from the military base and have a good and relaxing time.
Negatives:
The bathroom was uncomfortable, a little small, and definitely, the housekeepers needed to make sure that they cleaned all the trash cans and mop the floors.

This cute little hotel has such a lovely pool/bar area. What drew me to the place for a local staycation was the swing bar, it was so fun to swing & sip cocktails. The staff was nice and the room/valet cost was great for Waikiki.
Negatives:
The rooms need work, they weren’t updated well. Also, the coffee machine (which was free) had a sign saying it was out of milk… but they were able to make lattes (with milk) for sale.

Property was great! Great location, close to everything including the beach. Very helpful and friendly staff. Food at the restaurant was really good. Room very clean and comfortable. The pool area was nice and chill and there's also a pond with coi fish. Overall my 1 night stay was good.
Negatives:
The only thing I didn't like,was that the internet in my room was not working. Apparently they had been having some issues with it so,it was out of there hands.

This was an extraordinary spot in Honolulu, truly one of the best places in town. Its great location is within walking distance of the most popular attractions. The fantastic small garden, complete with a swimming pool and open bar, makes your stay unforgettable. The room was like a king's palace—immaculately clean and fresh, with a lovely balcony. The warm reception was truly welcoming. Great work; I will definitely be visiting again! Well done!
