Positives: Excellent location, it was quiet and felt very private and secluded. Gorgeous views all around.
Negatives: The “Mountain view” room wasn’t really a view of anything until we left the room, not at all what I was expecting. Unit 28, all you can see out of any windows is other units.
We loved our stay, and...

Positives: It was situated by a cove/bay.
Negatives: First of all...the photos of this place is very deceiving. The room does not come close to what you reserved. Cheap furniture, no handles on the kitchen cabinets. Only one mirror (in the small bathroom). Only one television in the living room. AC unit in the living room window. The bed did not have a headboard. Upon checking in the young man was very nice. The following morning another clerk, female, was a bit rough in her tone of voice when we asked if there was more banana bread. This light breakfast is supposed to be served till 10am. We arrived the second day at 8am, no banana bread. When asked if they were going to put anymore out, she said no. This facility needs a lot of TLC, especially the price you're paying. I would never return and and I would not recommend this place.

Positives: Hidden gem in a not touristic area of O’ahu which is exactly what we were looking for. Views are stunning which make you feel in a very exotic place. The room was huge and had fantastic views of the mountain. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were perfect. They serve delicious banana bread in the morning. We also loved the live music every evening!
Negatives: Nothing. Everything was great!
Literally paradise!

Positives: Beautiful views from the balcony. Nice & hot spa & a large room with comfy beds.
Negatives: Very noisy neighbours making a lot of noise very early & waking us up every morning that we were there! Speaking very loudly, running up & down stairs which were close to our room. We could hear them above us & through the wall!
Nice place but the neighbours...

Positives: Paradise Bay Resort was hidden in what appears to be a residential area. The place is beautiful! Pool, jacuzzi, kayaks, lawn chairs out on river/bay and very lush Hawaiian gardens. The staff is great and very helpful. The WIFI works great and they have a nice 'club house/lobby' to sit in and relax. I also like that they are right off of the 83 which puts you right next the the Valley of Temple, 10 minutes away from Kualoa Ranch, and 30 minutes for the Polynesian Cultural center. Lots of local places to eat near by and Safeway is 4 miles south of the resort and there are lots of beaches near by.
Negatives: The room was very small, smaller than expected but it was functional since we were only there to sleep and then go. It would be nice if they had a small table in the room instead of a coffee table and they could use some better chairs to go with the table . We cooked breakfast on the hot plate and a table would have been great for eating and to set up my laptop to check work emails etc. We ate out on the porch most of the time. There is one AC unit in the bedroom and a ceiling fan in the front room. The AC window unit was noisy - which most of them are. We used white noise boxes to cut out most of the noise.
Very nice and beautiful spot...

Positives: We ended up with a room that was not near the water as we had hoped for, but was up high and was even better! We had fantastic views of the water and the mountains beyond. The whole resort is an older style that has had work done on it to make it very usable. It is in basically a residential area and the staff were helpful with various requests we had. Its location was great for us exploring the north and east coasts prior to our stay in Waikiki.
Negatives: This resort is a long way from anywhere but that can be part of its charm. A car is essential to access it and to even go out to a restaurant, yet $15US plus tax is charged each day for car parking! If this was just included in the fees, it would not be such an issue. On check in, I was told that coffee, fruit and banana bread would be available early in the morning. That sounded great, but irrespective of what time I rocked up in the morning, all that was left was the coffee and a couple of bits of fruit. Probably not worth mentioning really. The information on the site says "An Aloha Nights Buffet Dinner is offered on Monday and Wednesday. Other activities include Pau Hana Friday's Dinner & Fireknife Show." These didn't happen, so they shouldn't be on that website.
Try this resort if you...
