Red Lion Hotel Boise Downtown

Negatives: Absolutely disgusting. Several bedroom doors have clearly been broken into and my 2 year old found ash in the bedside table

Negatives: It was so old, scary crowd, dark exterior that did not feel safe

Negatives: The floor was filthy. So much so that I had to ask for extra towels to clean it myself. The room was very old and things were starting to peel from the walls and furniture. That would have been tolerable if things were clean though. There was something sticky on the arm of the chair. The TV has dark spots from age.

Negatives: The beds were uncomfortable. The place was very dated. The refrigerator was humming all night, and I couldn't sleep. I tried to call downstairs to report it, but the phone was unplugged and I couldn't find the wall plug. When I pulled the dresser away from the wall to see it, there was a ton of papers and trash with an inch of dust. There was a loose cable with an advertisement for the hotel back in that area. When I left the next morning, I told the gentleman at the desk about what I found, and he said ( I'll report it!) Never again am I going to stay at Red Lion!Not much of anything.

Negatives: The carpet was torn and duckt tape in the hallways

Negatives: Our room had signs of a roof leak, with popcorn ceiling flaking off. The walls had foot/hand prints and dirt all over and our tub and sink faucets had a constant drip. Sheets were old and scratchy. Our room was at the very end of a hallway next to a maintenance room, which I wouldn’t have minded if it weren’t for the wall (that our headboards were against) shaking and pounding all hours of the morning as workers entered and exited.

Negatives: Breakfast left a lot to be desired

Negatives: We went to our room then straight back to the desk to cancel/check out. Too many issues to single out. I can appreciate that the hotel has reached an agreement with the city to house homeless, but is not exactly the environment we expected. And regardless, the rest of the hotel is drastically wanting of renewal. Thank you,

Negatives: The carpet had stains and if replaced with nice vinyl then possibly the smell would go away and it look nicer.

Negatives: Dirty, un vacuumed floor snd stains and felt under delivered. One night was $120. But expected a nicer hotel as I used to stay 30 years ago. When I tried booking a Friday for $300 it was more than nicer hotels and dirtier. I had to turn in 2 dirty looking white bath towels. Our coffee pot wasn’t cleaned out from the 2 nights b4 when we returned for another stay we got the same room and noticed the room was cleaned but not coffee pot. The room inside despite a few hairs in the bathtub was decent and felt ok to sleep snd be in but bed horribly quirky too but soft s d comfortable.
