Located on the Upper Spokane River, this hotel is 15 minutes’ drive from Coeur d’Alene. Guest rooms feature cable TV and guests can enjoy an on site restaurant and lounge. Free WiFi is available in all rooms at the Red Lion Templin’s Hotel on the River. A microwave and small fridge are also offered. Free toiletries and a hair dryer are provided in the private bathroom. Negatives: needs some updating. Was noise upstairs the first night. I get it when you have a toddler, and there is really no where to go with them. After that night it was great. Smoke free hotel, but patrons smoke right out side the door.

Negatives: Garbages were full, pool was disgusting, ice machine broken and the employees were the rudest. An employee actually threatened to cause damage to our room and charge us for it- called me vulgar names in front of other guests because I complained.

Negatives: The sheets had burn marks from an iron. The toilet had sharts all over the bowl. The sink kept clogging.

Positives: The staff was friendly, helpful and prompt.
Negatives: No way this hotel was a 3 star. It was old, less than clean, black mold on the ceiling in the tub area, and a smoke detector covered in plastic and taped to the ceiling. Not much outdoor area or views overlooking the river. Would not stay here again.

Positives: The staff was super awesome and friendly!
Negatives: Our room was a little dirty. Stains and sticky stuff all over the carpet. The bathroom counters and shower walls werenÂ't wiped down very well. Very noisy and other tenants climbing up from the patio to the second floor while we were outside.

Negatives: Maybe have two washers and dryers in the guest laundry room. We managed but it would lessen the time for doing laundry.

Negatives: Fixing TV's when we got there. Room above us for both night had kids stomping on floor til midnight. Ball of hair found under sink as soon as we got there, had to call front desk. And someone pulled the fire alarm early in the morning. Experience not good

Positives: This hotel was plenty nice. With Post falls in phase 3 we noticed no staff wore masks. The Overall good.
Negatives: hotel was noisy during sleep hours like banging sounds. The morning front desk person spent a lot of time on their phone. No greeting when approaching desk.
