I travel back and forth through this area a number of times a year. I am always towing a large 25' cargo trailer with a one ton dually, so parking is a must in my selection. I have two motels which I always stay at, this is my first choice. This last trip

Room had a slight smell. Wasnt unbearable.

The breakfast is great except for those nasty little sausages that are not sausages. The staff there are the best. They always try hard, no matter what.

Hot tub not fixed and rumor of owner removing it. Worst decision ever to remove a hot tub. With the fact that Coeur dAlene, Spokane, Hayden and Postfalls all have a triathlon or Iron Man and after those athletes want a place that has a hot tub to relax.

Courteous and friendly staff. We arrived earlier than check-in time but we were quickly accommodated. Superb breakfast! Location was key; worked out nicely for our purposes. Safe free well-lit parking. Nice warm room. Can't complain for price we paid.

Some noise from upstairs and next room but didn't last long.

The regular rooms are very small. I'm disabled and have a dog. While pet friendly, there's barely room for a crate. I have to be on the first floor. There are only 3 handicapped rooms, which posed a real problem for extended stays.

The toilet was dirty and frequently wouldn't flush, the room was dusty, the TV was hard to navigate. We were very busy while we were there and didn't want to deal with reporting it. Left a day early.

The hottub was under maintenance si we couldn't use it and the indoor swimming pool was really cold.

Front desk clerk was extremely helpful. We were even allowed to check in about an hour and a half early which was a blessing after driving on icy roads to get there.

hot breakfast. Quiet the nights we were there. Clean, good beds
Negatives:
Every year we go to MT and then back, so we stay twice a year. I need to plug in my freezer in the trailer. The outside 110volt plugs never work, despite them saying they will. After 4 years, I have given up. I just run the cord thru my window.
