The heater blew cold on hottest setting and all I could hear was a couple screaming at each other all night

There was no soap of any kind in the room. The hair dryer started on fire when turned on. There was construction going on down the stairs we had to use which made it difficult for my mother who walks with a cane.

The room was dirty my electric keep going off as a result of me having to throw food away that I bought, blankets and pillows were both dirty, they didnt replace towels or clean the room when I was away for the day no coffee maker

The back security door did not close. Several people standing by this door smoking. The hallways smelled very bad. The room had a bad smell too but not quite as bad as the hallways.

There were people talking in the hallway. The room was so dirty I couldn't even take a shower. It needs a lot of remodeling. The breakfast was so so. I should have known with a 2 star rating that it wouldn't be much. The staff was friendly enough.

There was a weird odor in our room when we first came in. The woman at the front desk when we checked in was somewhat abrupt and not very friendly, but the other desk clerk (who appeared to be a new employee) was very kind and helpful.

Comfortable bed.
Negatives:
Dirty carpet. Holes in wall. No door chain lock. No window curtain, can see right in from outside. Poor internet service from ethostream. Scraped walls, needs painting. Dirty furniture. Needs some extreme updating. No elevator. Overall, hotel in disrepair
