Positives:
The front desk gentleman (manager?) was fantastic, very helpful, and kind. Rooms were clean - the pool was awesome - really liked the complimentary hot breakfast - would highly recommend and return if ever in the area.

1. Lack of daily room cleaning and changing out towels. I was there for 7 days and the room was cleaned twice. I was told on day 4 it was my responsibility to request housekeeping.
2. Bed linen was practically threadbare and of such poor quality that it irritated my skin.
3. Parking and egress from the building were not convenient at all. Always felt like a hike when walking to my car or returning to my room.
4. Outlets in room need to be updated (too few and need easier access). I had to move the bed to gain access to an outlet for bedside devices.

Positives:
I like the staff, other guest and the hotel layout and location.
Negatives:
I'm a side sleeper. The matress was too firm for me. I'll ask the staff for help to make the mattress sleeping surface a little softer on my next stay. This request has Don in the past at high caliber hotels like The Château.

It was very loud all through the night with people slamming doors and running in the hallway. The hot tub was luke warm and people were drinking in it. We stay here all the time this time wasn't pleasant and didn't seem they cared.

Room was clean and spacey, staff was kind and my children loved the pool. Breakfast ws great, eggs, waffles, toasts, bagels, jam, cream cheese, even pop tarts and some mufins.... We liked our stay a lot. The only thing I don't like and most of the hotels do is that you cannot open the window and with the summer coming rooms tend to get so stuffy. But everything else was great!

The Chateau is an older hotel and needs renovation. The back elevator and several of the vending machines were out of service. The outside doors were not locked or not accessible from the outside
