Hampton Inn Chicago-Carol Stream

Negatives: I came for the pool really my toddler wanted to swim peacefully but water was way to cold to enjoy. It was literally a waste of money.

Negatives: I wish the pool had been available to use.

Negatives: Under construction, no gym or pool

Negatives: Reception lady was rude during check in

Negatives: everything , dirty , smells, no room cleaning for 4 days inattentive associates also under construction and difficult to get to your room your feet stuck to the floors throughout the building dead cock roaches

Negatives: 1. Air conditioning in the room wasn't cold enough, or the unit was the wrong size for the room. 2. Pool was broken.

Negatives: 1. Our room was like two rooms put together. However, there was only one A/C unit, so it wasn't enough to cool the entire room. 2. This isn't anyone's fault, but the pump on the pool was broken so they had to put in chemicals, so we couldn't swim. We have young children who really look forward to swimming, so it would have been nice to have the opportunity to transfer to another location with a working pool or to get a refund to try and book somewhere else. 3. The smoking patio is right next to the side entrance by the elevators. Our options were to park at the front of the building and walk all the way through to the elevators, or park close to the elevators and walk our children through the people smoking. 4. I HATE having the shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and body wash on the wall. I know this is unreasonable and it's way better for the environment this way, but I just hate it. This is the first time I've encountered it at a hotel. 5.The air conditioning in the lobby and breakfast area does not seem to be working.

Negatives: Ice could have been more accessible, the phone should have been cleaned from a sticky liquid that kept it from working, the shower dial worked in reverse, and it’s time for the hotel to be redecorated.

Negatives: The hotel was very short staffed and staff was exceptionally rude. The keys on the doors never worked. When we arrived, we were sent to a dirty room.
