We had great time staying...
Positives:
Room was clean. Staff was quite friendly. The food at the bar was good and the bartender gave excellent service. Lots of hot water available in the bathroom.
Negatives:
Windows need to be washed. The light fixture had a dried yellow substance on it that needed to be cleaned. The covers on the furniture were threadbare. Accent pillow on the chair was stained and needs to be replaced.

Wonderful location. Great staff. 98 year old building with lots of charm and history. Room was big and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was very good. Stayed for 9 days and would go back.

Room needs updating/refreshing, didn’t spoil our stay. Booked as I have done a hundred times through Booking.Com. This time for some reason we had extreme difficulty with payment, ended up paying £6K instead of £1.5 for a week stay, and it took a lot of stress to sort out. The staff were very apologetic and did their best to sort it but it took a long time to fix. Our daughter who stayed in the next room had the same experience, so not sure why this happened. We did get some compensation.
