We had not visited this hotel since its conversion after the pandemic to accommodate hostel-type travelers with several rooms on the second floor for various group activities. The group kitchen seemed cramped. The other rooms were nice but empty. Our room was rather dark, without any cups at all. The desk was large and handsome. The TV worked perfectly. The hotel is very clear you are on your own for parking, and we used the parking garage on Pearson, an easy walkwe bought online our 24-hour parking pass, which got us in no trouble, but would not let us out without paying again, so we paid about $30 and then $50, and there was no human being in the garage to help.

Overall it was a really nice experience. The people were nice. I really like the feature of a community kitchen.

Hot, had no AC. Was not told of this before booking. Incorrect checkout times listed in booking. One elevator for entire hotel. Dirty sheets. Incredibly hot if windows werent open.

The property was not clean. Mold was growing in multiple locations in the bathroom. Visible rust on vents and metallic surfaces. The lobby was very hot and the AC didn't function properly.

I liked that the curtains give you privacy. The place has a good location you can walk to the points you want to visit or take the metro. It was super easy to locate and check in.
Negatives:
The only thing that bothered me was the heater was very hot and when you close the curtain it ends up stuffy.

The location is great, front desk was clean
They had a nice dining room, and a wellness room 24/7. The staff was nice and friendly and ready to help.
Negatives:
When I first got there the bins were full, and had dirty towels in the bathrooms (mine were clean in the locker )
However I made the reservation 30' before getting there so I don't blame them for this.
