Good
Positives:
Loved the location.
Negatives:
The staff, the morning staff was completely different than the night.. there were three men in the morning who were extremely rude. We tried telling them a couple things that were wrong and they responded “iiight yeah bro we hear you” to my husband.

Negatives:

Superb
Positives:
A real value for the location if you have a dog. No doorman or bell hops, so getting luggage in the door and to your room is a bit hard. It is an important historic building. Renovated, not completely gutted, so doesn't sparkle like a 5 star, but clean and comfortable. Big windows.
Negatives:
Absolutely rot-gut keurig coffee. Undrinkable. And restaurant does not open early. Walked to 24-hour Dunkin Donuts in the dark cold.

Positives:
We had a really welcoming reception from Cassandra Marshay after a very long journey. It is a really nice experience to be greeted by a warm and friendly smile.
Thank you Cassandra. From Mr and Mrs Gray from Spain x
The water bottle is a fantastic idea and as we stayed twice we got two!
Negatives:
Not convinced about the 2 quilts. We like to snuggle but got too hot

Positives:
Very friendly staff all throughout. The water bar in the lobby was great. Welcome drinks were really nice.
Negatives:
The hotel was advertised with parking possibilities, which was not the case. There was only a valet service.
Hotel restaurant and bar were fully packed and we had to find some other place for dinner.

A really nice place, especially...
Positives:
Location! Staff! Room! Vibe!
Sorry, I'll stop with the exclamation marks now.
Seriously, this place is a gem. It's really close to two subway/CTA stations, it's in the heart of downtown Chicago, the staff were just lovely, and the whole atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. I loved all the little touches that made the stay a little bit extra; the free reusable water bottle, the water station in the lobby, Dash, the Pineapples Pup, the individual duvets etc. I would recommend Staypineapple to anyone. On a side note, as a solo traveller, I felt very safe in this hotel.
Negatives:
I can't think of anything I didn't like!

Positives:
We had a room on the third floor and the view wasn’t great, but the room was fine, great shower, a fridge.
Breakfast was excellent (paid for separately).
The location is incredible, close to everything.
Negatives:
Would’ve liked a top floor room for the view.
