Recent Reviews
Positives:
The location.
Negatives:
The inside curtains that block the light did not work, including the one right next to the bed, so the room never got dark. The tap water tasted odd. The room was tiny. I also had to ask three times for a second set of towels. And hotel parking was $65.
Positives:
Location excellent-just off Mag Mile & within walking distance to everything, incl. train/subway stations & bus stops. Room was clean & had everything needed for a weekend stay. Bed was very comfortable & towels/linen top quality. Good value for Chica
Negatives:
A Resort Fee was charged, but we don't know what this was for. It usually includes free wi-fi, but the wi-fi was not included - if we wanted to connect in the room an additional payment of $9 was required.
Positives:
Location, location, location - right on the Michigan avenue close to Water Tower, shopping, and transport.
Negatives:
I was barked at by bell boy(man) before even stepping into the hotel. No name tag, others do have one. On the same day bringing luggage into the room he rolled it to the door and would not assist, just stood there looking at me weird.
Positives:
Nothing, underwhelming
Negatives:
Everything, dirty

Positives:
Location
Negatives:
Room was a little bigger than a walk-in closet. Could use a face-lift.
Positives:
Excellent location. Spacious room. Good housekeeping service.
Negatives:
Bathroom was a bit shabbypart of one of the towel racks had fallen off the wall, mildew in the shower grout, plastic toilet seat had melted gouges in it (curling iron or other heated element placed on it previously?). Blanket on the bed was too thin.
Positives:
It was surprisingly quiet for the location and weekend I visited. (I heard no St. Patricks day revelers from my room)
Negatives:
The bathroom could have been cleaner, but it wasnt a deal breaker.
Positives:
Location. Professional front desk staff.
Positives:
Great location
Negatives:
Wouldve been nice to be notified verbally of the wine tasting. It would be nice if you took cash.
Positives:

Positives:
Great location. Room was efficiently small, comfortable, practically arranged, clean and had quality linens. Staff was courteous and accommodating. The hotel is not flashy, but it's a solid good place to spend the night when enjoying downtown Chicago.
Positives:
Great service, accessible location, very responsive staff
Negatives:
Room was small, old, fairly clean but not spotless as I expected. Amenities relatively lacking, my room was right by the elevator and the walls were so thin that I couldnt sleep from all the noise from the foot traffic. Overall, more of a 3 star hotel
