Right in the heart of the Loop. Not too far from public transit. Nice 1940s-era lounge music.
Negatives:
One of the elevators was broken for at least two days, leading to long lines and long waits. There didn’t appear to be an alternate way to get from the ground floor to even the lobby much less rooms. Considering the amount the hotel charged, elevator maintenance was lacking.

Yes good morning I greatly enjoyed my room and the property at the hotel. I had a slight issue though I was trying to book the room for two people and upgraded to a King room but it was supposed to be a free upgrade I booked the room it's supposedly $117 now I am charged extra for a room upgrade which I was told was free. I don't quite understand?
Negatives:
I always ask for an early check in because I'm in the hospital having surgery. I don't know why the free upgrade did not include my purchase.
