It was next door to the Elmurst Hospital and didn't cost a fortune.
Negatives:
The carpet was kind of dirty, the ceiling had been inappropriately patched from water damage. Smelled like marijuana in the hallways. Neighbors slamming the door every hour or two until the manager threw them out.

Everything, very bad area. I left a day early and almost didn't stay there at all.

Big bang for the buck. Staff listens, takes ownership, and is willing to think outside the box to meet my needs.

Both times (separate visits) I tried to access the pool my key card would not work.Small complaint-it worked in the 2nd door on the other side of the pool area.Another small complaint: the luggage carts do not have hooks between the base &hanger bar.

The hotel met the specific criteria we were looking for, safe location, close to our destination, free internet with a microwave and refrigerator. Plus a pool for the price it was an excellent choice. Nice aesthetics.
