Perfect location for what we needed

We booked this property because we were looking for a place with a pool and hot tub. I specifically called prior to booking to make sure they both were in working order and I was told that both the pool and the hot tub were, so I booked it! Upon arrival we went to the pool area and the hot tub jets were not working. I mentioned it to the front desk and also let them know that I specifically called prior to booking. His reply was, “sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t.

I liked the proximity to town but not too close to busyness yet far enough for relaxation. The breakfast food was hot and plentiful. The attendant was on top of anything missing. The housekeepers were a delight and fulfilled our requests daily but were not intrusive.
Negatives:
The refrigerator was frozen up and they didn't have a maintenance man, i asked. I told the desk clerk that I was a property maintenance man for years and I would unplug it and let it thaw and see if that helped, it did. The toilet seat was loose and the Kleenex container was falling out of the wall. minor things that a part time maintenance person would be able to address.

My room was on top of the pool, so we heard all the screaming and a big snap every time that doors were closed, but it was during the day. Other than that, the service was awesome!!
