Positives:
Very clean, well maintained building, rooms, furniture, etc and does not look "worn out/shabby" at all, nice comfortable beds and pillows, great breakfast, friendly staff and I'll recommend this location for certain!
Negatives:
Not much to dislike! I do think it would be nice to have 3 pillows available for the queen and king sized beds versus only the 2 pillows would be a nice touch, but, I was still absolutely satisfied with my experiences here during my stay, I'm definitely coming back!!!!!

For a budget hotel it was decently clean, especially where it matters like sheets, and toilet. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was adequate. It was quiet at night.

The place could use a remodel, but again, it is super cheap, so it wasn't bad for what I paid.

Good enough for intended stay

I walked into the lobby and it immediately reeked of marijuana. Fine. The person at the desk was incredibly friendly and got me checked in quickly, so I let it go. But then I couldn't because even my room smelled bad! I knew it was cheap, but I didn't think it'd feel so dangerous and gross. The parking lot had signs about how the hotel isn't responsible for any theft. The sheet had a strange burn hole. The bathroom floor was sticky. The window opened, but had no screen. It was easily the worst hotel I've ever experienced. I took a melatonin to knock myself out because I *needed" to sleep and woke up as early as possible the next day to shower and leave. (Really needed to wash the experience off of me. At least they offered decent shampoo & conditioner.)

The hotel didn't feel safe and smelled like weed

People on drugs walking around outside! Dirty linens with public hair still hanging in shower from previous guest. Asked to have them replaced 3 times had to speak to management because the front desk told me that wasn't their job to take care of that. Would not reccomend. Pull over at a rest stop on the highway and sleep in your car. It would be cleaner.

Positives:
People were friendly and helpful with my situation. I loved that I could have my cat with me despite $10 a night which I think should be half that. A refundable fee like for non smoking rooms should be done so if its a mess keep the money. If room is clean from animal, refund it but $5 per night should be enough. The bed was very comfy and everything was clean.
Afterwards, I spent night in another place that reaked of bleach and carpet so dirty it ruined my socks, no way could take a shower. Next one for $1 less than my 1st 2 nights here had roaches! So dirty and old was disgusting. Nothing been fixed for decades but open? Smelled like 10 yr old dirty ashtray and had to wear mask to sleep! Black mold in bathtub and windows plus wouldn't shut.
I will definitely be back here after seeing 2 other places!

It was great except for inconsiderate guest above me. I thought there was renovations going on but just disrespectful guest for 2 days banging, stomping, moving furniture? Hours of noise during day and woke me 12:30A and again 3;30A, never got back to sleep. Told gurl at desk who said she'd look into it and got worse later.
Not much sound proofing, heard man coughing above and swearing cuz he couldn't stop.

We needed a room last minute and they was able to accommodate us. The room was decently spacious. It was clean.

The pillows r so small. They aren’t even a standard size pillow. The blanket on the bed was very thin. There wasn’t any type of stuffing to the blanket. So they aren’t good for keeping warm.

The hotel wasn't very clean, you could tell the comforter hadnt been washed in awhile, the remote for the TV didn't work, the tables in the room were dusty, the window was broken and some of the light bulbs were missing or broken as well. The free breakfast consisted of eggs, biscuits and what should have been gravy but the girl hadnt a clue how to make it so it was as thin as water and uneatable. When I complained she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I complained again when the next girl came in on duty but she just said she couldn't fix it and left it at that. The coffee and juice machines were both broken as well. We will not be back !! What a waste of money!!

We checked in, no bath towels, the bathroom door handle was off. The bedspread was thin and there were no blankets, no microwave, no refrigerator, no hair dryer.Had to go to the desk and get one. We just used hand towels to dry off. Everything should be in the room. We should not have to keep going to the desk. And who rents out a hotel room with no bathroom door handle.
Very disappointing. Will stay in Pontoon Beach next time we visit family. I’d pay more to have something decent to stay in.
