Negatives:
Could use an update on furnishings. Walls need some fresh paint. Curtains need replacing. Had problems with TV and remote. Was very upset when I was told I had to pay more for the handicapped room. I refused because I already paid for it when I booked it. Staff called the boss and waved the extra charge. It is unfair if it continues with other customers

The property was first surrounded by rat traps on the outside. The lobby was welcoming but as soon as you walk down the hall it reaked of cigarettes and pot. We never got cleaning service and had to ask for towels everyday. We were told that we had to request cleaning service when we needed it. I didn’t know that we had to request them to do their job. By the end of the tip we had a PILE of towels, it was weird. Every morning the pancake machine was down… which would have been fine had the other food been warm but it wasn’t. We swam in the pool once… they had the windows open during a rain storm so it was coming in and then the bugs and cobwebs in the sills of the windows was disgusting. Every time we pulled up to the hotel the whole staff was always under the breezeway smoking. It was just very inattentive and not welcoming. This is not up to par for holiday inn. My advice just stay in Bloomington. We will be next time.

Room was hot air conditioning did work well. Air conditioner made a lot of noise kept me up a lot. Walk in bathroom behind door needs work pain chipping and looking rusty. Worries if one of my kids touched it . Could have been bad.

The location was perfect as a stop on a long drive. Check-in went well and the staff were helpful. The room was large and comfortably appointed. The bed was very comfortable and afforded a pleasant night's sleep.
Negatives:
There is really no negative comment I can make about my stay. This is very minor, but although there was a Keurig machine in the room, there were no cups for the coffee. However, I found what I needed in the dining room.
