Helpful staff, quiet room.

I know this place had a major renovation, but it still read like a facility built in the 70s, and beginning to show wear and tear. The internet fee felt exorbitant on top of the room rate. having housekeeping banging on the door at 8am was not welcome.

Room service was shockingly bad. Stay away from the street tacos! The texture of the chicken was slimy or fatty or something. Very disappointed as the availability of room service is one reason I stay at this hotel. I couldnt bring myself to eat anything else there for the rest of the week

The bathrooms in the room were plagued by ants. Housekeeping did a good job of killing them but could have cleaned them up better. The dead insects were in the tub every evening and on the walls even after housekeeping came.

The location. And the staff was accommodating when I requested to switch rooms.
Negatives:
The hot tub in the pool area was roped off with caution tape and unable to be used. If I would have known this ahead of time, I probably would not have booked there. Also, the garbages in the outdoor pool area were overflowing with garbage.
