Positives:
The fact that it still had a room for the eclipse two months before the event! We were pleased with how prepared the staff were for the flood of guests... plenty of towels, breakfast, eclipse info.
Negatives:
That swimming pool room is janky as hell. The stairs and handrail are scary and as a disabled person, not safe or accessible. Lots of evidence of poor ventilation and water damage. The water itself was clean thankfully, but the room needs a lot of TLC.

Didn’t like anything, rooms a dingy and dark and outdated. Every time I left the room and came back, had to go back downstairs to reprogram the key cards. Not very clean and will never stay there again!

Requested handicap room. I understand it isnt always available so it was not too bad that we didnt get it. The room was almost to the end of the hall which was difficult for my elderly mother. Also, the pools were not available for use.

It was conveniently located.
Negatives:
The packet of sweetener, sugar, creamer, stir stick, and napkin had mold in it. Didn't seem asup to date aside should be. The Quality inn that my husband and I stayed in the next night Seemed cleaner and more up to date with current Needs.

The most disappointing thing was that we picked that hotel because of the nice pool. We even stopped to buy swimsuits on the way, and when we arrived the pool was empty! That was one of the main reasons we chose the Hampton Inn. Also, because I know Hampton Inn is normally a nice hotel. It just was an overall poor experience, and we likely will choose another hotel in the future.
