That is was the closest hotel to my event
Negatives:
The person behind the desk may as well have been a robot or a kiosk. She uttered one sentence through the entire check-in process... "What card you usin'?" and that was it, truly. When we got up to our room it reeked of pot. I went down to change rooms. "What room you in?". Simply handed me a new key. No other words spoken. No "sorry about that". Just turned to the next person checking in. The price was easily double what it should have been and triple what it should have been for the service we got. I probably would get better service at a 4-hour nap place.

The motel is tired. The back door wasn’t working, my deadlock was non existent, the carpets in the hall were frayed. The breakfast was minimal.

The hotel was filthy and smelled horrible. The bedding was old, outdated and extremely uncomfortable. My room smelled like old I cleaned carpet and smoke. The carpet throughout the facility was filthy beyond belief. If I’m not mistaken, there was a crack pipe in my room

That hotel needs to be updated profusely. Holes in carpet; smells bad; furniture stained; refrigerator very loud. The first room we were assigned wasn’t ready for anything/anyone. The check-in staff very efficient & nice.
