1. Staff was very friendly during check in 2. Simple overnight stay, comfortable place to crash 3. Shower and bathroom was good 4. The breakfast looked very nice but we left to pick up family 5. Bed and pillows were very comfortable 6. Parking was convenient

The property is dated and needs some remodeling. We had to move rooms because the first rooms had sheets with stains and the mattress itself had what appeared to be a dried blood stain.
The second room was better but there were makeup stains on the inside of the shower curtain.

Great pool and working hot tub (which seems rare these days). Pool was a good temp for the kids to play in. Staff was helpful and everything was quite clean. Breakfast was really good and the pancake machine was fun for the kids to watch.
Negatives:
Everything needed little updates. Light overs for ceiling lights in pool area. New carpets. Pretty much everything. All was very clean though.

Bed was comfortable, shower was good, room clean, breakfast was very good, location was good.

Property needs a cosmetic attention.
Exterior: plants need care and attention, walks are cracked and broken, front door needs to be updated.
Interior: Room air conditioner loud, sounded like interior parts were loose. I was able to adjust settings to quiet it down quite a bit. Wall repairs in bathroom and room are either poorly completed or a work in process. Patchwork and painting needed. Shower fixtures functional and clean but looked corroded. TV cable system is outdated and awkward to navigate. Card reader to open room was a little tricky (usually required two or more attempts before card was successfully read.
Value for the money: this property does not hold up well when compared with other Holiday Inn Express locations we have used. For the money we paid, we assumed it would be at least as good or better. Instead, we received adequate accommodations for an inflated price. If this were a Motel 6, I would not have been surprised.
