Let’s start with Carlton! Check in was easy and quick. Off
To our room, our key wasn’t working on our suite door, so Carlton came down personally to bring new keys and make sure everything was better than satisfactory! He was always kind, polite and said hello by name when we passed in lobby. What a very nice experience. When at the hearth lodge for a drink and apps, I hope Luis is your alchemist! His drinks were perfectly made and if you say strong you’re not in the right place. It was perfectly made so you couldn’t taste the alcohol but when you order a martini you know your alcohol is in there!! He made drinks from the love of his ancestors telling him when to stop!
Negatives:
The mini fridge was definitely not as cold as I wish. It took a long time to get my items cold and very small.

The property itself has many amenities, the walking trails are strangely laid out but the landscaping is lovely. The pool is huge, the hot tub is spacious.
Negatives:
The hot tub was not kept well. The foam was dirty and scummy, the filter looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while. The “balcony” was hardly a balcony, you could step outside but not enjoy your coffee or even sit down. There is no enforcement of the no smoking policy, so there were quite a few smokers around our balcony. There was blood on our pillow, we did get new ones. There are no real cups, glasses, or mugs in the room. For a place that costs so much, it felt like a motel.

The property is in a very peaceful and quiet setting, surrounded by woods and water. It's also not far from retail, bars, and restaurants. Nice pool, sauna, and exercise area.
Negatives:
Self-parking is a bit of a walk from the hotel.

That there was a step out balcony. The pool was great but the hot jetted pool was the best.
Negatives:
The fact that the hotel advertised a spa and this is 95% of why I booked. To my dismay even though advertised hours from 8am to 8pm that wasn't so.
I called for services for Saturday, Found out it was an outside company. All they had were 2 time slots available. They couldn't even do a couples massage because they lacked the staff she stated.
The young lady finally said I might have someone to do your couples massage at 6pm. She said let me call you back. Well, I never received that call.
