Both rooms smelled of smoke, the air conditioner didnt work, sheets were dirty, and the breakfast was disappointing. The waffle maker didnt work well. And the cereal container broke twice

Positives:
Location was good, roughly 60 miles east of Saint Louis, MO. We were traveling west so we liked that it was outside the large city area. Parking was good and next door to Dollar General which allowed us to get a few items we needed.
Negatives:
Property appeared to be poorly maintained. Bathroom was adequate but appeared dirty as whomever did the tile work was not a professional, very poor workmanship which included using dark brown grout on light colored tile which just looked nasty. We assumed the large dark globs in tub corners and bathroom corners were grout?
