Hampton Inn By Hilton & Suites Pekin (Peoria Area)

Negatives: We tried to check in after having already paid and they denied service.

Negatives: Wasn't anything I didn't like

Negatives: Kids were running and screaming all night knocking on our door. elevators did not work in lobby. You had to wait on someone to come down to the lobby and it open up before you could use it. We had NO hot water while there and the fitted sheets were so stretched out they wouldnt stay on the bed . They were having a party in lobby both nights of our stay with screaming children playing basketball in front of check in desk and hallways. Worst hotel stay ever at a Hampton and we paid $185 per night. Spoke to the hotel clerk and she said to call and speak to the manager. She gave us a card with her number. No one ever answers. You get a message saying they can't take calls at this time.

Negatives: The water in the room itself did not get hot, it was lukewarm at best, the water pressure was also very low. The pillows were very flat. Beds were fairly comfortable. The main floor hallway smells like dirty armpit.

Negatives: This last stay was a bit disappointing. My room door would not lock all weekend long. When I would leave I would have to open it, let it slam shut and even pulled to get it to latch. It was frustrating and worrisome. I felt bad for the people right next to my room. The pool could have been a little bit cleaner. The inside edges where very slimy. It's never been that way on previous visits.

Negatives: A few comments, the hotel has a "market" where you can purchase cold drinks and heat and eat microwave food etc, a better selection would be great, especially soft drinks. The beds have duvets and they are too hot to sleep under. And ther is only warm water in the bathroom sink.

Negatives: There is nothing that I did not like everything was perfect

Negatives: The pillows could be a lot better for $170 a night. They sucked
