Parking garage was a pretty good distance away from the hotel, so walking in the cold and rain wasn't great. At 2 in the morning children were running up and down the hallway for over an hour and the curtain didn't close and there was no microwave in the room.

The staff was the absolute best! Super attentive and helpful, super super friendly. The front desk lady, I wish I could remember her name made my absolute weekend she was so sweet
Negatives:
When I booked my reservation it was supposed to be for a kind bed with a sofa bed and a balcony. When we got to our room it was only a king bed but it worked. Definitely did not complain bc the sweet front desk lady let us check in so so early and was so sweet

Pretty rough area, shelter across...
Positives:
Honestly I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Check in was fast and easy. There was plenty of parking right off the side of the building. (Metered parking is free from 5pm to 8am) The room was clean. Ideal room temp was easy to achieve. The hotel is a short 4 minute walk from the Civic Center. All around good experience. I usually stay at a property across the river but due to the ideal location in relation to the Civic Center this will likely be my go-to accommodation for concerts.
