The noise. My room was facing balmoral Ave and the noise was unbearable. Little sleep. not sure the windows are soundproof? From the street traffic, to the airport, it's a very loud hotel so I recommend something further down the road with less traffic.

A really smart hotel which is just a few miles from the airport. Finding where to park was a bit of an issue and it may have been useful for the hotel to have a standard email sent to you to help you find the correct parking area (unless you want to pay for valet parking) but reception told us how to find it on arrival (it is actually very close by and is in the multistorey over the road - follow the 'self parking' sign and park on the 1st floor which is clearly labelled for Aloft parking). There is then a short skywalk to access the hotel. Right opposite too is a fashion outlet with dozens of shops if you have time for it.
The hotel is very cool and modern and has a nice bar area and is well decorated and comfortable. Our room was very plush and nicely decorated and was roomy and bright with a large comfy bed and a very nice bathroom. It was also very quiet. The staff were very polite and professional. Breakfast was a pay breakfast on site but was rather limited and uninspiring so we wandered off to a nearby Starbucks. All in all a great hotel which I would highly recommend for a stay before a flight.
