The pool was closed and it never stayed that on the reservation! Also the price said $---and it always shoots to higher amount. Ive stayed there 3x since its close to my grandchild so I have to stay there for the pool. And the price is used to bait u!

Breakfast (6AM-9AM) was good and simple. Cereal, bagels with cream cheese, toast with butter and jelly, coffee and juices. However, if you did not get there early, they would run out of milk for cereal.

Breakfast was okay for continental breakfast. Would have liked sweet rolls along with white bread, bagels, and english muffins. I didn't take any cereal since I didn't know how old it was. Only 3 cars were in the parking lot both nightsI was there. Bananas and apples. Beds and sheets were very clean. White towels in shower and sink were very clean as well. In general it was clean, but a "tired" motel. Hallways and elevator smelled of smoke. Not recent, but probably for years before.

No microwave in room as listing said there would be. Refrigerator froze my banana. Had difficulty with remote on on tv. They gave me 3, but I still could turn the tv off. I had to use button on the back. Stains on the chair and ottoman. The whole feel was that it was a "tired" motel.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I had made an error in booking (thinking that the sofa in the sitting room in the suite was big enough for an adult to sleep on, and it was not), but they tried to help us out to see how we could still accommodate our family in that room. They were very helpful and kind.
Negatives:
It is true that the furnishings are outdated and old but that is also why you pay less for this hotel, so we were fine with that. There was some smoke smells in the shared sections of the hotel.

Good location, seemed secure enough that I didn't worry my belongings would wander off while I wasn't in the room.

The elevator broke down on the first day of my stay (nearly trapping me in it), one morning my friend woke up coughing a bit and suddenly we got a phone call demanding to know if we had a dog in our room (we did not; when we answered as such we were challenged), the walls were paper thin and they seemed to be constantly and loudly cleaning nearby rooms at 8am, the floor of the shower was squishy to the point where we were worried it may fall through, and the "secure" side door we ended up using the whole stay (see: broken elevator) was never locked.
