The reviews and photos of this hotel are giving it more credit! Nothing was good about our stay.
Negatives:
Everything was dirty, broke or smelled bad. So bad we went and bought air fresheners as nothing was available at the location. The tv, AC, phone and blow dryer didnt work. We had requested a late checkout and continued to receive phone calls to our broken room phone vs the staff speaking to us. The gentleman on duty threatened to charge us another $200 if we didnt checkout. A huge breakdown in communication for a not busy hotel.

Dont bother - pay more and stay somewhere else

This hotel was terrible.

The hotel was dirty, smelled terrible, provided the least amount of breakfast Ive ever seen, everything in our rooms was broken (tv, hair dryer, phone). Service had quite the miscommunication around our late checkout and told us we needed to leave or would be charged another night. They never came to the room just kept trying to call the broken phone.

Heavy rain brought in dozens of ants. Night desk clerk said ghe had never had problems with ants and had rented that room the week before our stay. Morning clerk apologized and explained it happened with heavy rains in 2-3 rooms. Other than for few ants we had a very nice stay.

Requested maid service and did not receive it. Very poor breakfast selection (waffle batter made very tough waffles, syrup had absolutely no taste/flavor, yogurt was grainy and unedible). Attitude of the desk staff upon check out was "I couldn't care less". This may seem discriminatory, but as an impression of Quality Inn and Choice Hotels goes, a desk clerk with piercings through their nose, lip, etc. do not go over well with I would bet is most of the population. Suffice it to say I will not be staying at this establishment in the future.
