Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jacksonville

Negatives: No hot water. Hair in tub and on bedding. Door would not locked. Room not clean, old tv. Breakfast was cold not hot.

Negatives: Hot tub was broken and pool was very cold. The room temp was hard to manage with just the window unit. So hot at night since its winter.

Negatives: There were tiles that were broke in our bathroom, need replaced. Ran out of hand wash. Our trash wasn't taken out, as we stayed a couple of nights.

Negatives: Only reason we selected this hotel was it had a hot tub. However the hot tub was out of service when we arrived. Had we known that we would have reserved somewhere else. They would not compensate us or refund the room so we could go somewhere with a hot tub.

Negatives: Hot tub didnt work. Cleanliness was not the best. Water in the shower never got hot.

Negatives: We arrived shortly after 3 p.m. for check in. Once I checked in the front desk lady told me that my room was not ready and didnt know when it would be. I told her I would wait off the side so that someone who did know could tell me. Housekeeping did go check on the room for me and let me know it was ready. Once we located the room we had troubles getting the key card to work, but did get in. Upon entering the room we when noticed a broken window and the screen had been cut out. We opened the fridge to put drinks in and water came out because it had been thawed and was hot. I went to retrieve more belongings from my car when I tried to get in my room the door locked flashed red and then just stayed red. I couldnt get into my room. The front desk lady didnt understand what I meant by broke and just reset my keys. When I went upstairs and tried again it didnt work and stayed red. She finally came up and tried to reset the door lock, but failed. She then moved us rooms and just gave us new keys. She never asked how we would get back into the room or tried to help us get into the room. Thankfully my husband was in there. The hot tub was closed with yellow caution tape haphazardly wrapping around it with disgustingly green water in it. The pool area had no towels even though several guests had told the front desk staff. The hotel was extremely overpriced. We go every year to that hotel for a tournament. Next year we will find a place to stay.

Negatives: More than i have paid in Paris or NY--an absurdly high price for such a lousy hotel in such a small town. Cracks in the wall, not enough towels, bargain basement amenities, lousy coffee, curdled cream, curtains that leaked light...just really a sad hotel experience, made far far far worse by the absurdly high price.

Negatives: the facility was well worn but the rooms were clean.

Negatives: The plumbing in the tub was blocked.
