It is evident that this immigrant family (Indian subcontinent) has worked very hard to completely transform this old property into a nice place to stay. Everything was clean and shiny. Everything worked. The customer service was excellent.
Negatives:
The only problem with 2 star hotels is the 2 star careless guests: * Letting their door slam * Setting off their car alarm not once but twice * Talking loudly both late and early Ear plugs needed next time.

Old hotel has been nicely updated. Bed was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was carb heavy but pretty good. Pretty fair deal for the condition and breakfast. Decent water pressure. Rooms have fake wood tile floor. Easy to keep clean. Room was cl

We stayed in one of the suites. It was a great value at $---/night. I told the GM that, in my opinion, the room rate was too low for what we got.

Exterior stairs had dried mud and there were muddy boot cleaners at several locations. These may be necessary, but would be better placed in more discreet areas.
