Negatives:
I was double charged for my stay. Even though I had prepaid on booking.com, I was charged again by the hotel after check-out. After I wrote in, the hotel gave me a refund. However, because my credit card is not based on USD currency, the different currency exchange rates for buying and selling USD resulted in a deficit of ~USD70. I contacted the hotel again, with the credit card statements to show the deficit, and was told to speak to my bank about the currency exchange. Which bank does not use different rates for buying and selling currency? They should have made up for the deficit since the mistake was made by them in the first place.
