Best Western Plus Greenwood/Indy South Inn

Negatives: Everything was very cheap. Bath towels felt like sandpaper. Tissues & toilet paper were one ply you could see through. Breakfast was awful unless you like biscuits & gravy. We will not be staying here again.

Negatives: Elevator was broke, which seems to be an issue regularly from other postings. Housekeeping needs to order extra pillows. We needed one for our children sofa bed. Our request was denied as none were avail? What about borrowing from empty rooms?

Negatives: The front desk was VERY RUDE! She was outside smoking more than inside. She came to yell at our group for "getting noise complaints" however there were 15-20 boys running the halls. We were sitting on the 3rd floor having drinks and talking normally. She was the worker that was there for 2nd shift. All of our rooms had a weird smell. My flooring was not swept. It did not seem very clean.

Negatives: Ok so, had a wheelchair room. Walk in shower and bathroom very roomy. Which was very good. However in the shower the soap,shampoo ect was high up and to the back of the seat. I could not reach it at all need help. The shower for me was not easy to work. Again needed help. Thank God I wasn't solo. The hand bars by the toliet there but one was in my opinion is misplaced. There is one to the left and is sturdy and placed well. But for me I need two. The 2nd one is BEHIND the toliet. I had to use the corner of the sink which was literally a small corner due to distance and I was very fearful of my palm slip off. If I tried the back bar I was risking dislocating my shoulder. So a bar behind the toliet, and a bar on the left side....sorta like playing twister...my body would not be safe twisted like that. Now here is a very confusing issue... Why on God's green earth would you have a bed close to 4 foot off the floor in a handicapped, wheelchair room? I absolutely could not get into the bed. My husband literally had to lift my legs and one by one and had to help me somehow someway get comfortable which never was achieved. I am over 350 pounds so this task was absolutely not easy for either of us, but especially for him. It was also extremely painful I was only able to sleep an hour at a time...my legs were so sore and challenged. Then my back, then my neck. In order to use the bathroom we had to repeat this physical hardship... My husband didn't get much rest either due to this unexpected physically challenging mess of a bed that I could not get in or out of. Nor could I physically get into a proper physical position in order to rest or sleep properly. The pain this cause my body was and still is beyond bearable. So my question is why? Why in a handicap room would you have the bed so high?

Negatives: I Did not get the handicap accessible room we reserved. Also, hated the metal side rails on the bed. We bonked them with the back of our heels more than once, and they were LOUD!
