Positives: Room was newly remodeled. But not finished completely before they let us use it.
Negatives: The bolt on the door was not aligned properly with the door and would not lock, the peep hole in the door was just a hole all the way through with no glass, there was no phone. We called the front desk on my cell phone to ask a question. The night staff put us on hold and then never got back on the line. There was no hot water in the shower. Construction work with extremely loud drilling in the room right beside our room started at 7:45am. It was quite frustrating and not a comfortable stay. However, they did comp us $50 for all the issues. The morning staff was really nice about everything.

Positives: The room we stayed in was quite nice. Very roomy and clean. The staff was very friendly even though it was PACKED for the eclipse.
Negatives: Two things: The first room I was given was UNINHABITABLE. Second floor - it was literally disgusting. I am sure that would have been offline if it weren't for the eclipse. Thankfully, another room was available. I dropped a room before the booking deadline and was charged an additional $100 for the room I kept. I want to dispute that. That was NOT part of the booking contract. I emailed the manager but did not receive a reply.

Negatives: We waited two hours to get into our room. They said it wasn’t cleaned yet. Didn’t get into our room until almost 6pm. Carpets were filthy. No one cleaned our room the second day. They told us we had to request this when it was too late to do anything about it. Tried to call Hilton and got passed around to three people who didn’t try to help.

Positives: The hotel is currently under remodeling so the hallways need some finishing work but this did not take away from the quality of the room. I liked that I could stream from my phone to the TV.
Negatives: The bed was a little firm for my taste, but it was comfortable, and the pillows collapse to easily. The hotel is located near a retention pond where geese habitat so there were droppings in the parking lot and entry way. I would suggest power washing the walk way consistently.

Negatives: I booked the hotel a week in advance and contacted the hotel 3 days before arrival and asked about early check in and was informed to just contact the hotel when we were on our way. We arrived in Indianapolis at 10:30 am and was informed we were not able to get an early check as previously stated by another hotel worker. So when we arrived at the hotel at 3:30 pm we had to wait in line since there were several guests in the lobby for various reasons and only 1 hotel worker to service the guest. When she was finally able to speak with us she stated that she was about to call me and let me know that the pipes had burst and they didn't have any rooms for us but made arrangements with another hotel who said per the employee of the hotel that the another hotel would honor our rate. So before driving to the other hotel I contacted them via phone and was informed that the hotel indeed made a request for the guests who were affected. And before we left the lobby and guest came to the front desk to report a power outage in the gym room and we left. The hotel is under construction and if I had known that information prior to booking I would have selected a different hotel. So we drove the 2 miles away to the other hotel but was informed that the other hotel had only reserved 15 rooms with king size beds only. I had reserved 2 double rooms with double beds so the 2nd hotel said that they could only honor our rates if we select the King size beds because they only booked for king size rooms so we had to pay the difference for the double beds which we did because we were tired, long day and traveling with 4 minor children was exhausting after our family event I will use the Booking.com service but I will definitely be asking more questions and contact the hotel before final booking.
