Very good
Positives:
My friend said the breakfast was great. I didn't do the breakfast,so I can't comment.
Negatives:
Neither room had closets or coat hangers; don't recall ever seeing a hotel without provisions to hang up your clothes. WiFi was pretty much useless. It would access a handful of pages, but when you tried to go to next page, you get "We can't reach that page".

I loved the fact that...

Friendly staff, location, and the pool. Rooms were clean
Negatives:
Renovation is going on. But it's understandable

Positives:
Friendly staff
Negatives:
Next to a railroad track, middle of renovation, but they did call and tell us that ahead of time. No shampoo in the room? Had to call for it?

Good
Negatives:
This hotel was being renovated and was not really in an operational state. It was difficult to get luggage in the buikding and we had to use doors that werent anywhere near our room. There was a lot of construction dust everywhere. I wont stay again.
Positives:
Frankly, not much. The whole place is a wreck. Yes, undergoing rehab but all at once. Halls are blocked, cluttered with tools, and guests have to haul luggage around workers, hard to get around. Dust everywhere. Post-it notes that fall off walls in place of room numbers, unpainted walls, dangerously shabby carpeting. Its a mess. Breakfast just bad.
Negatives:
Rehab should be done one wing at a time. Not able to park conveniently for bringing my stuff in. Food should be fresher. Fix the parking lot and direct guests to the correct door.

It was ok
Negatives:
Our room was really nice but with all the construction and remodeling going on, the hallways were cluttered and dust was flying around. I understand. It has to be that way, and we were very glad to get a room since we have been fighting snow and ice on the roads for hours.
