Located in a nicer part of South Bend, with a couple of good grocery stores nearby,.
Negatives:
The room could have been cleaner. All of the cooking untensils and pots/pans had not been cleaned very well and we had to reclean everything. The dishwasher did not work very well either.

It was pretty clean, the bedding and towels and carpet all looked great, but in the bathroom there were lots of these little bugs. NOT bed bugs or anything, just little black bugs that we kept finding. I think they just need to spray soon. But the hotel was a nice hotel. I just wish we didnt have to see that.

The location in perspective to ND stadium was great. When were able to check in early, 1:00 p.m. Staff was very pleasant.

Unfortunately, the neighborhood was a little sketchy. It borders on a little scary. I would not have felt safe alone at night by myself.

I was able to check in about 90 minutes before 3pm.
This was wonderful because I had been awake for over 30 hours.
The person at the counter was excellent. I really appreciate that. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Thanks!
