People smoking right outside the main door everyone comes & goes through. We had an awful time turning on and off the shower. The bath tub was working either way. We had to fill the tub with the shower and turn it off. It took major man power to shut it off!

I had a wonderful weekend. Everything on point. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was great. I was so surprised that the carpets were well kept. There was no musky smell in the room or hallways. That is a plus for me. Because I have stayed in good hotels that their carpets smell gross. But over all the stay was great. This will be my new spot when I visit Terre Haute. Everything was very accommodating for me. Also, the kitchen staff she was amazing.

Ran out of hot water one night due to plumbing problems. Cold showers aren’t fun.
Breakfast is decidedly “meh.”

Sorry, but this will be long. First, there was little to no hot water the first night, and they didn't give us any type of discount. Then the phone didn't work, so you had to go downstairs to talk to the front desk. The clock next to bed didn't work due to the cut cord. To get the toilet to flush, you had to hold down the handle the whole time it ran. The shower was missing a part, so it just turned all the way around, and when we finally got hot water the next morning, it was hard to find the hot, no H or C marks. The bed was super uncomfortable. You could feel the springs. I would not come back to this hotel. It needs updates and a good clean
