We booked this motel based on the reviews that were posted. Cleanliness was a top priority and this hotel had good marks.
When we arrived our "no smoking" room was anything but that. We bought spray and plug ins and my husband even cleaned the air conditioner screen. Despite that it continued to smell like someone was in there smoking. The floor was so dirty we could not walk on it barefooted. The bed was not comfortable and we had to go to the office for fresh towels. I have learned my lesson about inexpensive motels and relaying on online reviews. We were in Cedar Rapids for a funeral and left a day early because we couldn't take another night in that motel.
