Lovely room. The staff member in the bowling alley (on his own!!!) was serving drinks, cooking the food and getting ingredients where necessary. Two people at the desk at reception doing not much and no help for the guy downstairs. Team effort guys.

No restaurant or bar on a Monday. Not too many options around the hotel either. Horrible shower, attention to detail overall. I see what you’re trying to do, but execution is key.

Fantastic property in downtown Sioux City. Great amenities, many of which we weren’t able to fully take advantage of due to our schedule. Not inexpensive, but well worth the price.
Negatives:
Prepaid for the stay through booking.com. I had a minor issue with a charge on my card for incidentals, which eventually was reversed. Only real downside to the entire trip.

Everything! The hotel is stunning. Our room was amazing! The bathroom was spotless and the heated toilet seat was awesome! Great to be able to use the swimming pool and spa/hot tub too. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend ♥️

Incredible hotel
Positives:
We had a pleasant room in this beautifully restored historic property. We appreciated the free, on-site parking that could be accessed through the rear door. The hotel was in walking distance to the Public Museum and the Art Center.
Negatives:
Unfortunately, our visit was marred by an unfortunate experience in connection with breakfast. The front desk clerk denied that we were entitled to breakfast, despite our having a receipt from booking.com showing that breakfast was included in the price we had paid. To our astonishment, she said that outside booking agents such as booking.com had no authority to include breakfast in our payment. After much discussion, she finally give us passes for a "free breakfast". When we finally checked out, we were amazed to see our bill included a $20 charge for the "free" breakfast. The desk clerk then struggled for some time to finally remove the breakfast charge. All of this amounted to wasted time and aggravation for us.

The Warrior is conveniently located in downtown Sioux City near the apartment building where a family member lives. It is a lovely well renovated gorgeous building that is a pleasure to be in. Our spacious well appointed room was quiet, pleasant, airy, and had two chairs--a very comfortable desk chair and easy chair--as well as a bench to sit on. We were pleasantly surprised to find a Toto toilet/bidet and a lovely shower/soaking tub combination in the bathroom. On days that are not as popular, the price point is quite appealing and makes a stay there much more affordable.
Negatives:
Four items surprised us. While the room and bathroom were lovely, it was actually difficult to get cold tap water from the bathroom sink or cool water in the shower. The bed mattress was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the pillows were very thick and firm. It would be nice to have pillows of different firmness for the folks who prefer a softer, not so thick pillow. The lovely robe that was in the closet was wonderfully comfortable. We found it odd, however, that a room with two guests only had one robe. Finally, the lack of a secure WiFi network.
