Negatives: How my booking was handled by Wingate. 2 thumbs down. I requested for a queen room with 2 queen beds for the 4 of us. I was given 1 king bed in a small from. I was given this wrong room after having confirmation emails from bookings.com and Wingate themselves. I even received a confirmation phone call from a staff member at Wingate about the room I had requested. I also talked to another staff member a few hours later to kindly let them know another adult (my mom) would be accompanying us. Once again, they confirmed my queen room with 2 queen beds. I was not given a discount or reimbursed so I could look elsewhere even though it was completely their error. This mishap made our stay extremely frustrating as I had planned for my kids to rest up in between their 10 games they had this weekend. What’s most frustrating was they did not take blame, but instead blamed it on Booking.com even though they themselves had already confirmed my room. The whole thing felt extremely fishy and I was given the runaround from the staff member about her not being able to get hold of the manager or staff member who had left for more info and saying the phone line was not working even though she was on the phone with another customer. Sounded like they double booked and didn’t want to own up to it. I felt like I had no other option but to stay there since they would not reimburse me or at least give a discount. My kids were already tired from playing 5 basketball games in one day and needed to rest up for 5 more the next day. The last thing we needed was a cramped room with a pull out bed blocking our walkway and fridge. We shouldn’t have had to be climbing over a bed to get to the other side of a room. That’s not what I paid for.

Negatives: We paid for 2 queen beds and was put in a room with 1 full bed and a sleeper sofa. We are supposed to get a refund but that never happened.

Negatives: Room being remodeled and not finished. Beds were horrible. Old squeaky mattresses.. Room heat/ac unit making terrible noises and blinds were nasky. Of course got the 6 o'clock wake up call to the barking dogs in the hotel after arriving late at night.

Negatives: The hotel was under construction and that wasn’t known until I was in the room. The hot water was like warm and I had to run it for about 3 minutes until it was warm enough to shower. Never did get hot. The bathroom sink drain was very slow to drain. The night desk clerk spoke very little English and had a hard time understanding what I was saying to him when I needed another key to get back in my room when I left mine in the room when I had to take the dogs out.

Negatives: No complaints

Negatives: Was unable to sleep at all because of the noise and the slamming doors until 3:30 am from guests and delivery men

Negatives: Morning person was not friendly

Negatives: The rooms could use some updating, but based on the flooring we saw in the halls they are working on that.

Negatives: Facility in need of updates, carpet worn out beds too soft. Felt the cost to stay was too high, breakfast didn't have many options
