Days Inn by Wyndham West Des Moines

Negatives: The toilet wasn’t fully attached to the floor, shifted under weight. The door handle wasn’t installed completely into the door. Was only one roll of toilet paper available, and there was an 75% used roll already out. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

Negatives: The fact that as soon as the week end came the rate went from $55.00 to $140.00 a day

Negatives: Room was dark and dreary. Some funky smell of old and musty. Water only trickled out of faucet. Phone didn’t work, I went to check to see if it was plugged in and pulled out the night stand, it was horribly gross and dirty. I’m pretty sure it was a women’s maxi pad on the floor. Faucet had a very small trickle of water coming out. Telephone had some clear junk all over dial pad. No TV remote. When I went to check in, no one was at the desk. Waited 15+minutes for greaser guy to finally show up. I could go on and on about the horrible condition of hotel. Needless to say I’ve filed for a refund thru my bank!

Negatives: Check in wasn’t as smooth as I thought it could be considering I prepaid for my room months in advance. They charged me again at check in and they had to refund me. Got charged a deposit (which is fine) but had another random charge late at night (around midnight) for a small amount and wasn’t sure what it was for (unsure if it’ll drop off or not at this time, we did not make any extra purchases with the hotel). My friend said the hot water was inconsistent. We couldn’t find our tv remote in the room so couldn’t use the tv. The pillows on my bed were very small, not like normal rectangular pillows more like the size of square accent pillows. Enough towels in the unit to accommodate one person.

Negatives: Waffle machine never really works well. It's not well attended and usually needs spray oil which this didn't have. Coffee's too strong.

Negatives: Staff was all rude to my family, except for the lady who was cleaning the rooms (she was great). Juice was sour, pool was cold, double queen room was 2 full beds. Staff refused to give extra towels even though pool had no towels.

Negatives: The overwhelming smell of waste in the general area. There are air fresheners hidden throughout rooms to try to combat it. The facility in general is not very well maintained.

Negatives: Everything I pretty much disliked. Morning staff guy sucked which made the whole stay terrible. Phone are too old cant function properly. Internet was spotty. N ok staff so had to ask for and grabs towels myself.

Negatives: I did not stay. I arrived with my son at the time designated no one was around. The parking lot was empty the door to the pool was ajar. It felt like an establishment I didnt belong in. I got out of there as quickly as I could. Gross.

Negatives: Nothing

Negatives: Smelled terrible
