The bed was great and it was very quiet because hardly anyone uses this motel!!

The floor was not swept at all. I used the heater because El Dorado, Kansas got to 28 degrees that night. At 1:30am the heater in the room stopped working and I was so cold the last 2 hours in bed!! There was only 2 very thin covers,no blanket!

Need to improve on breakfast. Only waffles, cereal and toast. No butter for any and asked and said we don't have any. There was a syrup container but didn't work. I don't like syrup. I like butter and sugar on my waffles. Ate it dry with nothing on it.

Once in our room everything was great!

Checking in was horrible. It says we can check in at 3:00 but it was almost 6:00 before we got our room, in which theyd just got done cleaning. I understand being short staffed, but dont book the rooms unless you know youll have them ready. It wasnt just us but serval people couldnt get there rooms until later on in the evening.

We ended up NOT staying in this hotel. It did not look anything like the online photos. It was very run down and the neighborhood did not appear to be safe. There was also no place to park our U-haul and truck and trailer.
Negatives:
WE forfeited our reservation! There were "gangs" of people hanging around the hotel and they had tables set up outside of the rooms. The property looked junky and the building itself was very run down. We sould not have felt safe staying here.

Minor problem with booking. Wanted 2 beds, given a one bed room because I mentioned wheelchair.

Nothing coffee sucked room I was promised over a month ago was switched was promised a discount for having to stay because I was promised my room I had my honeymoon in 28 years ago even payed in advance to get screwed if I had known I would not have traveled 1 and a half hours and spend 130 for bull crap I don't like being lied to

I stayed last year and loved it but this current stay was totally different and Ill never stay there again.
Negatives:
Staff was horrible, room was filthy and pubic hair all over the inside of tub, on walls on floor to the point it was sickening ,keys wouldnt work, inside pool water too cold so couldnt swim . Housekeeper never came to room all weekend so had to walk to office to get towels, coffee etc etc, no phone in room to call front desk so had to use my cell to call front desk.

Extended stay by 3 more days and had to pay deposit again even though I stayed in the same room.
