Positives: The Best Western hotel chain has done a lot to improve their hotels over the years. I know prefer them.
Negatives: The water was hard and unsoftened. There are two things I hate most in hotels....hard water and clogged sinks. This one had hard water. The girl working the hotel desk was very annoyed. Not the usual friendly face I get when checking in at hotels.

Positives: Location, size of rooms.
Negatives: The room smelled like pee very badly. Staff didnÂ't do anything about it when I told them. figured they would discount my room but they didnÂ't. Employees donÂ't seem to be trained on customer service. The seemed annoyed/unhappy to be there.

Positives: Location, location, location! Great room, with mini fridge, microwave, free, wi-fi. A very good value. Hays has many new options for lodging, this ranks near the top to me!
Negatives: breakfast is limited to carbs. Minimal proteins. Coffee good to great.

Positives: I didn't like anything about this hotel. It was awful!
Negatives: The internet worked EXTREMELY SLOW, or not at all. I am a college English teacher and I had to have grades in for my students, which I couldn't do. Also, they put in a room with a huge spotlight shining into the room and no curtains to block the lights.

Negatives: The room we were first assigned had a dirty sock at the end of the bed on the floor. I’m not sure how housekeeping missed it because when I walked into the room it was the first thing I noticed. 2nd room had dirty microwave plate.
